An important part of improving the safety of all road users, particularly bicyclists and pedestrians, is having accurate crash statistics. A significant number of crashes between motor vehicles and bicyclists or pedestrians that result in an emergency room visit go unreported. NYBC strongly encourages anyone involved in a crash to report it as soon as you are able.
