Know your rights and responsibilities - Share the road safely
Take a moment to view our two-part bike law videos outlining how motorists and bicyclists can best share the road to improve the safety of all road users.
Created in 2016 and produced in collaboration with the City of Albany Police Department and funded by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with a grant from the New York State Governor's Traffic Safety Committee, these videos are intended for use by law enforcement agencies around the state, driving schools, and the general public to improve knowledge and enforcement of vehicle and traffic laws relating to bicycling.
NYBC has also developed a curriculum to accompany these videos for specific use by law enforcement agencies, driving schools, and other state entities.
