Join Us for a unique, but always special CycleNY Advocacy Ride on Long Island - Welcome Back Riders!

Join us Sunday, October 10, 2021 for the 6th annual CycleNY Long Island Ride to benefit the NY Bicycling Coalition (NYBC.net). The ride begins at the Stony Brookside Bed and Bike Inn, with 25 mile and 50 mile route options. Both routes boast views and the area's beautiful mostly lightly traveled back roads. The longer route option includes some more challenging hills. Note: This is a non refundable, rain or shine event. Remember, every dollar paid benefits the New York Bicycling Coalition.

Very important COVID notes to understand and accept in order to participate on this ride, please read carefully:

We try to have as few rules as possible, but we must, and we expect all riders to comply in order to ensure the safety of all who participate.

Arrival: In order to minimize possible crowding, riders should only arrive onto the grounds of the Stony Brookside no more than 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled ride time. Riders can wait in Stony Brook Village if they arrive early. Since departure groups will be staggered, there should be no problem in getting riders checked in and ready to go quickly. Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated while in the staging area at the Inn and in the village.

Departure: Riders will be promptly sent out in groups of 50.

Rest Stops: Please do not linger around the serving tables to avoid crowding. Grab what you need, and go. Please make sure you use the hand sanitizer that is provided when taking your snacks.

Post ride gathering: Refreshment gathering after the ride has always been a tradition that has made this ride special. Please feel free to hang out as long as you like and enjoy.

The Stony Brookside Bed and Bike Inn will provide a place to launch the ride and return for refueling with food, and rehydrating while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow cyclist
